Description:
B31.4 / B31.8: Bend SIF value used in other code combinations may change incorrectly when the "Print" flag for Hoop stress is unchecked. Hoop stress does not use SIF in its calculations and should not have any impact on the SIF value.
Avoidance:
Keep "Print" flag for Hoop stress checked when printing results.
Or
Upgrade to AutoPIPE CONNECT 11.02 and higher.

Enhancement 143560:
Add ASME B31.8 2014 Edition (onshore and offshore)
Description:
To introduce the 2014 edition, and associated calculation, library and online help changes, of B31.8 onshore and offshore to AutoPIPE.
Consideration:
Combined stress for restrained pipe equation was changed in this edition of the code. Paragraph 833.4 , (a) 1
Subsea structures test pressure is now 1.5 x design pressure (previously factor was only 1.4) Paragraph A847.2

Comments:
a. The test pressure factor is defined by the user on the Hydrotest Load Properties dialog. The default value displayed for the factor may however be updated for different codes. Logged new Enhancement, TFS-E291223, Set default value of Hydrotest pressure factor based on the code selected.
b. Appendix F relates to reinforcement calculations, which AutoPIPE does not perform.
