Problem:

How to change the skewed dimension line color?

Solution:

AutoPIPE 11.02.xx.xx to 24.00.01.154 has no feature to change the color of the skewed lines dimension on an isometric drawing.
We have to update the Style.xml file in order to change color of skewed dimension line you have to perform following steps given below:

1. In AutoPIPE launch Open plant Isometric Manager from menu "File > Launch Openplant Isometric Manager"
2. Open any border file you want to modify from "[Installation Directory]\isoextractor\Borders\..." i.e. I have selected DGN\A0BORD.DGN
3. In upright corner select Drawing from the dropdown menu and then click on Annotate option as shown below:

4. Extend the dimensioning down below with a toggle down below as shown below.

5. Select Symbology tab. As shown below.
6. Now keep a note of the color no. that you want to set for the skewed dimension line. For e.g.: Red-1, White-0

7.Now locate the style.xml file in AutoPIPE program data directory. The default location for this file on a typical installation:

Folder: C:\ProgramData\ Bentley\ AutoPIPE CONNECT \ isoextractor\ projects\ project01\ stress\ Config

File: Style.xml

8. Open style.xml file in any text edition (Notepad++ or Ultra edit).
9. Search for "Skew" in text file and replace this color no. with the color no. you want as note in step. #7. As shown in screenshot below:

10. Save the style.xml file and regenerate the isometric. The color of the skewed dimension line color will be changed as per your requirement. As shown below:
