When modeling reinforcing bars in ProStructures, it is necessary that these rebars are assigned to their designated concrete element. However, there are times when some rebars are located in the middle of two concrete elements, such as shear or dowel bars. Ideally, these rebars should be in the first concrete pour. If you assigned these rebars to the wrong concrete element and do not want to delete the existing rebars. You may want to use the Key-in: proconcrete reassign owner.
Steps to follow
1. Open the Key-in dialog in the 3D model. Then enter proconcrete reassign owner.
2. The program will prompt you to select the rebars you want to reassign. Then choose the new concrete element for the rebars.
Please note that this option is only applicable rebars placed by Single Rebar, Single RebarSet, Single Rebar Distribution, and Irregular Dispatch Reinforcing tools.
