Equipment Summary report appears to be blank, why?
"Equipment" sub-report creates a section which lists the rotating equipment nozzle loadings, and code acceptance criteria (per the applicable section of the Rotating Equipment Calculations) for each active load case and Other combination. At the end of this report is an"Equipment Summary" section that provides a short summary of information about the Rotating Equipment analyzed:
This summary is not intended to provide in-depth information about the report. The most import information shown is a "List of Load combination(s) failing code checks". In the example below, user can quickly see that the equipment analyzed failed 2 load calculations, Gravity and Thermal 1:
For more detail as to why a Load combination failed a code check, review the report above for that load case, looking for the word "Fail" at the end of the respective code check calculation, example Load case = Gravity, failed code check F.1.2.1 - Individual Forces & Moments at each nozzle.
In the image above, discharge allowable was set to 700 lbs, but Actual value calculated was 1886 lbs, which is 2.694 times greater than the allowable. Therefore the nozzle has failed and thus Gravity load case is listed at the end of the Equipment Summary report.
If there are no Load Combinations listed on the last line of the Equipment Summary Report, shown below, means that the nozzle has passed all code check requirements.
