The following Error message appears when opening a DAT file created by importing a PXF file:
---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
Error 221: Please contact Rebis
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
why does it occur and how to avoid it?
This is a rare error message. If this message is displayed, please log a Bentley Service send and attach a zip file containing the following 2 items:
1. AutoPIPE APC file
2. PXF file used to create the DAT file
Once these files have been received in a Bentley Service request, the CAE development team can review and possibly fix the model.
From one previous logged issue, there was a single point segment in the model but that point seem that could not be deleted. The segment was noted to be a type of bend near/far, but the remaining points of bend are missing. A complete bend of same name already exists in another segment. Also this point is not connected to any other point. Program tries to delete this point and segment but stuck in a loop. The CAE development team has a special application to open an AutoPIPE *.DAT database file to updated the point type and name manually. After doing so, the model was saved and could then be opened using AutoPIPE.
