The following appears when starting the Time History Location command :
---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
Time History load data is from another system
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
What should I do to avoid this issue and be able to run the command?
There can be any number of reasons that may cause this issue,
1. Copy / Pasting THP and THL files between models without regards to updating the files them selves
2. Manually creating the THL file and not completely entering the required information.
3. Manually creating the THL file with incorrect formatted information.
4. etc...
Regardless, best to perform one or more of the following:
a. Open the actual THL file in any word editor (ex. Notepad++, Ultra Edit, etc..) and compare the formatted information to that in AutoPIPE help
or
b. Continue to open the file in AutoPIPE
As seen in the above THL file, "Selected History" information was found to be missing.
Update the missing information as needed, afterwards press the Apply button, and then press the OK button to continue.
Note: In this particular case the same history profile (THP) was assigned to all of the node points in the THL file. Your model may require a different history profile (THP) for each node point.
Try again to open the same THL file in AutoPIPE using the Location (Loads > Time History > Location) command. The message above should no longer appear.
