Problem:

How does a QA&R user install AutoPIPE?

Solution:

See KB article here for current QA version of AutoPIPE. If you want to be kept informed about when the next QA version of AutoPIPE is to be released, please contact AutoPIPE's QA department.

QA&R users can install AutoPIPE from one of the following sources: Bentley's Software download site, Connection Client, or Request a DVD from Bentley systems QA&R manager / Contract -Sales associate (ref. QAP -Rev.11 section 7.2 SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTION).

If downloading the software from the site (manual method) or through Connection Client (automatic method), install the software as mentioned here.

If using a DVD, follow steps below:

Step #1: After receiving an official QA&R DVD mailed from Bentley.

Step #2: Install the CD into the computer where AutoPIPE is to be installed.

Step #3: Use ‘My Computer’ to browse to the CD and double click on the file, Quickstart_AutoPIPE.pdf.

Step #4: See Chapter 2: Installation Guide, go to the page for "Install from CD"

Step #5: Perform the instructions as written in order to install the application from the CD.

Step #6: Scroll down a few pages in the document to see a listing of screen shots that will be presented, ending with pressing the Finish button, shown below:

Step #7: Before starting AutoPIPE it must be licensed, see the document section on "License Setup Guide". there are 2 options. Perform the steps required for the option being used.
