After a piping code has been released and accepted for use by industry, the development team will start the process of updating an existing code in AutoPIPE. Unlike other programs where users are only able to select the current code edition, AutoPIPE users can select from a drop down list containing most of the available code year editions available for a particular code. Most ASME codes go back to 2004 code year and nuclear codes go back to 1972, Again, AutoPIPE support them all not just the latest. The advantage of this is that you can continue using the piping code year edition when the project was first started and update to the latest version of AutoPIPE which will include new features and fixes.
