There can be a multitude of reasons why this message would appear.
AutoPIPE Nozzle has a feature called "Set Default Code" that sets the default design code to the current code. i.e this design code will be set on startup. This will save all settings into defaults file "winnozl.def" file. The error message above indicates that this file is missing from the user's profile folder.
Suggest to reset user's profile using following method:
1. Close all AutoPIPE Nozzle application windows
2. Open user profile folder,
example:
C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Bentley\
3. Delete folder:
AutoPIPE Nozzle
Note: because, the enter folder was removed, the program will recreate the entire folder with default files when the application was restated by the same user.
4. Restart AutoPIPE Nozzle.
At this time, July 2021, AutoPIPE Nozzle readme file mentions:
Network Considerations
Network drives are not supported for the software and data files.
AutoPIPE Nozzle software must be installed on a local client workstation.
AutoPIPE Nozzle data files (*.NOZ) must have full read/write access and can only be accessed from a local client workstation.
Suggest moving it to a local folder on the desktop before opening in AutoPIPE Nozzle.
The file is not a true AutoPIPE file or it has become corrupted and can no longer be read by the program.
One can log a service request and send the file for review.
