The following is found in the MSG log file:
*** ERROR: UNSUPPORTED OR UNRECOGNIZED ELEMENT TAG.
Why, and how to avoid?
Typically this message appears when an NTL file contains a Batch Command that is not recognized or the command is missing important information
Piping components are incomplete or missing necessary data
Details:
From the PCF file find the error message *** ERROR: UNSUPPORTED OR UNRECOGNIZED ELEMENT TAG. The last node reviewed in this example was 102, therefore look at both components, 102 and 103, in the NTL file. For those who are not familiar with a component's requirements, reference AutoPIPE's help - Batch NTL Input cards for details. From the Batch command card information, one can easily see that an entire 2nd line was missing from the NTL file. Why?
Only reason, ask your self, "what did the translator read from the original imported PCF file?". Open the PCF file in an text editor and review the component's information.
Ahhhh HA!!!, after locating the Reducer component in the PCF file, notice that the 2nd end pipe size was set to 0.000.
Solution, easy, modify the Reducer-concentric information to include the correct Large /Small end pipe size (change 0.000 to 3.000). Suggest to review the entire model to see if there are additional reducers that need to be updated.
Note, one can always use a default pipe size, after the model is opened in AutoPIPE, go back and make adjustments using the power of the input grids (Press/Temp/PipeID tab).
Also, this is clearly an issue with the application that generated the PCF file. Go back to the source to be sure that it was modeled correctly. If yes, then contact the software manufacture to log a help request about the defect you have uncovered and to update their software to correctly export a piping component.

Details:
When importing a file using the PCF Translator 1.0.0.82 and AutoPIPE 12.03.00.17, the following MSG file was displayed with the following error message.
This message indicates a problem with importing an anchor. Open the assigned mapping file and scroll down to the support mapping section starting around line 60. Note that the support types and what they are mapped too:
Open AutoPIPE and look at the Batch commands:
Notice that the batch command in the current version of the program does not support ANCH command. After updating all the AutoPIPE Support types from ANCH to ANC in the 2nd column of the PCFIN.map file will resolve this issue.
Known issue (1471929): Extra lines added to anchor card
