The following is displayed when performing a model consistency check report:
W2143-29:Response spectrum case R1 has support group 2 that is no longer defined in model
Why is that and how to Avoid it?
This is a warning to the user that the support groups on the Imposed Disp. tab of the input grids does not match that configured on the Dynamic Analysis Response Spectrum tab.
Compare the Support groups on the Imposed Disp. tab of the input grids with the Dynamic Analysis Response Spectrum tab. An Support Group number not shown on the input grids should be specified on the Dynamic Analysis Response Spectrum tab. Fix / Delete any offending dynamic analysis Case Number as needed.
If a Support group was in the model and has since been deleted, and Dynamic Analysis Response Spectrum tab has Analyzed Support Group set to ALL may need to be manually reset. Perform the following:
1. Open the Dynamic Analysis dialog Response Spectrum tab and extend the dialog to see all of the columns.
2. Take a screen shot
3. Set all Analyze support Group values for each Case to 1
4. Press Apply button and then OK button
5. Reopen the same dialog again and configure using the original settings.
Done!! These few steps should reset the support groups.
