Problem:

After installing, licensing, and starting the program, the tab names are set to Tab1, Tab2, and Tab 3 instead of the normal tab names as shown below

Why and how to fix it?

Solution:

In this case, the application was installed on Windows 7, 32 bit) where WinNozl 2.0 had already been installed and then AutoPIPE Nozzle was installed at the same time.

Workaround

Open Add and Remove Program Windows feature, and uninstall the latest version of AutoPIPE. Refresh the listing of this program after removing AutoPIPE. AutoPIPE nozzle and WinNOZL should be removed, if not uninstall them too.. Again refresh the screen to be sure that all versions of AutoPIPE Nozzle and WinNOZL have been uninstalled.

Next, open and delete the following folders (if they exist):

C:\WINNOZL

C:\Program Files\Bentley\WinNOZL

C:\APIPEWIN\WINNOZL

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Bentley\

C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley

AutoPIPE CONNECT v12

AutoPIPE Nozzle

C:\ProgramData\Bentley\

AutoPIPE Connect

AutoPIPE Nozzle

Reboot the computer (yes all the way). After the computer has been restarted, download and install the latest version of AutoPIPE using default settings, sign into connection client, and start AutoPIPE Nozzle.

If this has not been resolved and installing on Win 11, try the following:

There are two files that AutoPIPE Nozzle is using from the Windows directory instead of the Nozzle installation directory.

1. Rename following two files so that program cannot detect it.

+ C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\RICHTX32.OCX

+ C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\vsocx6.ocx

2. Open command prompt as Administrator

3. In cmd, go to nozzle installation directory (for default location run command: cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\AutoPIPE Nozzle")

4. In cmd, run batch file named "regapn.bat"

5. Finally, start AutoPIPE Nozzle.

This should resolve this issue. If no, please log a Service Request mentioning this WIKI page and attach the results of these steps below:

a. Open command prompt as Administrator

b. In cmd, go to nozzle installation directory (for default location run command: cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\AutoPIPE Nozzle")

c. In cmd, run batch file named "regapn.bat" and note down any error given. The error may appear as message box or may be given in the cmd window
