I have deployed RAM Concept 06.3.0.6. I used /install /passive command; my computer is abruptly rebooting without any warning.
Reason:
The Microsoft installer (MSI) command line options documentation for /passive states to use the /norestart or /forcerestart standard command-line options to control reboots. If no reboot option is specified, the installer restarts the computer whenever necessary without displaying any prompt or warning to the user.
Solution:
We distribute a Burn installer bundle (.exe) that wraps up the Concept MSI installer. The bundle is not honoring the /promptrestart option. It doesn't complain if you use it, but it doesn't pass it down to the MSI installer.
Please add the /norestart option as stated below:
concept-bundle.exe /install /passive /norestart
