Solution:
At this time, these fields (Filling height, Liquid sp. gr., Vessel at Near/Far end ) are not used in the calculations of the Stiffness. The development team investigated this and it seems that in some older version of the program (back in 1995), the program used to calculate additional rotations of the Shell of the tank at locations where nozzle was connected when post processing displacement results. These additional rotations would then be added to the existing combination rotations, and would be reported as a separate line in the displacements reports. These additional fields were there to help in calculating the additional displacements of the shell.
Again, these inputs are no longer used and does not impact the results. However, these inputs were not removed from the program. Some of our users still preferred to have this data in their model even though it is not used. Therefore the decision was made to leave them for the time being.
