Problem:
Formula for calculation of hydro-test pressure as per CODAP Div.1 is:
MAX(1.45*PS, 1.25*PSr*(fE/ft))
Is this correct?
Solution:
To consider the MAWP for calculation of hydro-test pressure with CODAP, select “use PED” in Design Parameter Tab.
Note: the MAWP cannot be determined when the design failed (insufficient thickness), in in this case the MAWP must be input.
