Problem:
How you define a Seismic load combination in AutoPIPE?
Solution:
To include the seismic load case, you must follow the steps given below:
- Go to Loads > Environmental > Static Earthquake is selected; the Static Earthquake dialog is displayed. This dialog enables the user to define static earthquake load cases (E1 - E30) where forces are generated as multiples of gravity load in the (global) X, Y and Z directions.

- Then go to Analysis > Setup > Static Analysis Set. Select the Analysis Set no. you want to activate the seismic load case. Click on modify tab
- Choose the Earthquake cases you want to include in Seismic loadcase. Then click on Ok button. Analyse the system, the AutoPipe will automatically create the Code and Non-code combinations.
