Problem:
When inserting a Valve component the application crashes, why and how to avoid?
Solution:
Steps to repeat:
1. Insert a valve component.
2. When valve dialog appears, manually modify the Name Of Point and Tag No. with a customize value.
3. Press OK button
4. Current node point remains at the start of the valve and never moves to the end of the valve to continue modeling.
5. Top bar of application displays (Not Responding).
Avoidance:
When inserting valve components, do not change or customize Name Of Point or Tag No.. Make other modification to the dialog as needed and press OK button. Finish inserting run points and other components on the segment. When completed, open the Model Input grids, and adjust the To point names as needed (Imaged below, change K07 to 345)
Likewise, select the Valve input grids and make adjustments to Tag No. and other settings as needed.
