Problem:
The following appears when using AutoPIPE Vessel:
forrtl servere (408): fort: (11) Subscript #1 of the array GEOMETRY has value 0 which is less than the lower bound of 1.
Solution:
Your model is incomplete or by mistake you have removed a few components, resulting in this error. As you can see in the screenshot of your model below, the tubes do not make a closed loop, so the fluid In the tube side will mix with the fluid of shell side of the Heat exchanger.
The correct modeling approach to the tubes inside the shell is shown in the screenshot below.
As a suggestion, review the heat exchanger modeling examples in the software. And you need to stick to the particular type of heat exchanger that you have chosen in the starting instead of removing or modifying the components. If you want to change the type of heat exchanger, you need to start from a new file.
