Error or Warning Message

When opening the program, the following error occurs:

Trial license is not found or trial period is expired! Aborting.....

Explanation

STAAD.foundation V8i 05.03.00.18 and earlier requests a license that has since been discontinued.

How to Avoid

Option 1 Install STAAD.Pro V8i SELECTseries 3 (20.07.08.xx) or later

STAAD.Pro now bundles a version of STAAD.foundation 5.3 which utilizes a STAAD.Pro license instead of the discontinued STAAD.foundation license.

Option 2 Install STAAD Foundation Advanced

If you have licenses for STAAD Foundation Advanced on your contract, STAAD Foundation Advanced can be used as an alternative. This product provides all of the functionality of STAAD.foundation 5.3 and adds new features. Visit the [[STAAD Foundation Advanced]] page for more information.
