Do I need to install AutoPIPE Standard, Advanced, & Nuclear on my computer?
AutoPIPE is available with 3 different levels of the program + some add-on features. To make things easier on the user only 1 application needs to be installed. All the features for Standard, Advanced, and Nuclear editions are already inside of the program. It all depends on the Edition selected for what feature can be used in the application at that time.
Procedure:
1. Start AutoPIPE, press OK to revert to DEMO mode,
AutoPIPE 09.06.01.xx and Higher: select File> License Management Tool>
AutoPIPE 09.06.00.xx and Lower: select Tool> Setting> License Management Tool>
2. After The License Management Tool (LMT) application has been started, select the License Checkout tab:
a. Now press F9 button on the keyboard to send logs now.
b. Afterwards press F5, to refresh your screen.
3. Search the Product listing to confirm what edition of AutoPIPE is available on your SELECTserver.
4. Leave the LMT window open and go back to AutoPIPE,
AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.01.xx and higher: select File> License Configuration>
AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.00.xx and lower: select Tools> Settings> Edition>
The following dialog should be displayed:
5. Look again back to LMT, what editions of AutoPIPE are currently available?
In this example:
Listed:
Available:
Select the radio button for any edition / Add-on that are available and press the OK button.
AutoPIPE will verify the licenses on LMT and if successful, enable those feature applicable to that edition in the program. For a complete list of the features associated with an edition, please see the following AutoPIPE help section:
Help > Contents> Contents Tab> Bentley AutoPIPE> Getting Started> AutoPIPE Standard vs Advanced vs Nuclear
Note, If Advanced was selected above, after pressing OK button, the program would check LMT for an available license, LMT would return a No response, and AutoPIPE would have reverted to DEMO mode. Again, only those available AutoPIPE editions listed in LMT can be selected on the AutoPIPE Configuration / Edition dialog screen using:
AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.01.xx and higher: select File> License Configuration>
AutoPIPE V8i 09.06.00.xx and lower: select Tools> Settings> Edition>
