STAAD Advanced Concrete Design (SACD) or RCDC is a Robust Concrete Design Software while is Industry Wide adapted for Designing different elements of a structure.

It helps to reduce the time needed to get concrete designs to site, for engineers who are using STAAD.Pro or ETABS or RAM Structural Systems as the analysis workhorse in their design process.

This new tool will take the model and analysis results to produce full construction production drawings and schedules.

Below mentioned Software's can be Imported in SACD / RCDC for Design -

  1. Staad Pro (*.std file),
  2. E-tabs (*.mdb file or .accdb file),
  3. E-tabs (*.edb file),
  4. RAM (*.rss file).

After importing the Analyzed Model, RCDC/SAcd offers you to design and detail following Elements of a Structure --.

Different Design Codes that are Supported by RCDC are as follows --

  1. Indian Standard - IS 456 : 2000 + 13920 : 2016
  2. Indian Standard - IS 456 : 2000 + 13920 : 1993
  3. British Standard - BS 8110 - 1 : 1997
  4. American Code - ACI 318M – 19
  5. American Code - ACI 318 – 19
  6. American Code - ACI 318M - 14
  7. American Code - ACI 318 - 14
  8. American Code - ACI 318M - 11
  9. American Code - ACI 318 - 11
  10. Euro Code - EN 1992 - 1 - 1 - 2004 (Base / Custom)
  11. Euro Code - MS EN 1992 - 1 - 1 - 2010
  12. Euro Code - UK EN 1992 - 1 - 1 - 2004
  13. Euro Code - SS EN 1992 - 1 - 1 - 2008
  14. Euro Code - NBN EN 1992 - 1 - 1 ANB : 2010
  15. Euro Code - DIN EN 1992-1-1/NA :2013-04
  16. Philippine Code - NSCP C101 - 2015
  17. Australian Code - AS 3600 : 2018

Additionally, There are four regional versions of STAAD Advanced Concrete Design and a global version that covers all supported design codes.

Once the Design is completed in RCDC / SACD, different Design - Reports and Detailed Drawings can be extracted as follows --

Drawing Outputs which are saved in the DXF Formats

  1. Layout Drawings
  2. Detailed drawings in the form of elevations and cross sections / GA drawing
  3. In plan detailing for slabs and footings
  4. Text schedules
  5. Fabrication Detailing - Bar Bending Schedule

Text Reports which are saved in the HTML Formats -

  1. Design summary
  2. Detailed design calculation reports
  3. Bill of Quantities (3 formats)
  4. Other element specific text reports.

Note that the current license of 'STAAD RCDC' is for designing concrete structures to the Indian design code and thus will be upgraded to the 'STAAD Advanced Concrete Design - Indian'
