Pushing Members from STAAD.Pro to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer


Curve Member Objects

STAAD.Pro Members are pushed to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer as Curve Member objects.

Member Properties and Specifications

STAAD.Pro Member Properties and Specifications can be viewed for each Curve Member object in the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer.

Load Resistance

All structural objects pushed from STAAD.Pro will automatically be defined as Gravity and Lateral in the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer.

Axial Behavior

Indicates the Axial Behavior assigned to each member in STAAD.Pro:

  • Standard in STAAD.Pro = 
    Compression and Tension in iTAS
  • Compression Only in STAAD.Pro =
    Compression Only in iTAS
  • Tension Only in STAAD.Pro =
    Tension Only in iTAS

Placement Point

Indicates the Alignment assigned to each member in STAAD.Pro.

Use

Indicates the Attribute assigned to each member in STAAD.Pro.

Member Fixity

Indicates the translational and rotational Releases assigned to the ends of each member in STAAD.Pro.

Material

Indicates the name of the Material assigned to each member in STAAD.Pro. 

Section

Indicates the name of the Section assigned to each member in STAAD.Pro.

Section Properties

All sections listed on the Catalog tab in the STAAD.Pro Physical Modeler will be pushed to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer.

Standard Sections

Prismatic Sections

Standard sections defined in STAAD.Pro will be pushed to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer as Table Section Objects.

Prismatic sections defined in STAAD.Pro will be pushed to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer as Parametric Section Objects.

Material Properties

All materials listed on the Catalog tab in the STAAD.Pro Physical Modeler will be pushed to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer.
