Localized versions of STAAD.Pro are available from the downloads center in various languages. In order to successfully install and operate these versions the following requirements should be met

The computer should be running a licensed Windows 11, Windows10 or Windows 8.1 operating system, with 64-bit system architecture. The following additional requirements or pre-requisites also apply for localized editions of STAAD.Pro .

• Installation of Language Packs
  • Installation of the Windows language pack (for a language in which STAAD.Pro is localized) – is a pre-requisite to work with a localized edition of STAAD.Pro. For example, Russian edition of STAAD.Pro is supposed to work only if Russian Language Pack is pre-installed
  • Steps for setting up of language pack for a specific language is described in Microsoft documentation: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/14236/windows-language-packs.

• Setting up of System Locale
  • Appropriate language (system Locale) for non-Unicode programs should be selected. For example – Russian edition of STAAD.Pro should work only if system locale is selected as Russian(Russia).
