How do I Install, License, and Run AutoPIPE ATS (Automatic Test Set) 12.08 and higher?

Notes:

1. Due to the considerable resources involved, not every version of AutoPIPE will have a company ATS developed. It may take between 2 to 6 weeks following the release of an AutoPIPE version for an ATS to become accessible. The QA manager will ensure that the software is available for download: AutoPIPE versions, ATS, and other related materials will be forwarded to the individual's email who are specified on your 6-1-2 form logged with Bentley's QA department.

2. Each version of the ATS software is meticulously designed to correspond with a particular version of AutoPIPE. Consequently, it is essential that the ATS software version aligns with the AutoPIPE software version specified in the ATS documentation. Mixing versions of these applications is strictly prohibited, as it will invalidate the test results and could potentially lead to operational failures.

3. The videos located in this article were created using AutoPIPE QA 23.00.01.367, the general procedure holds true for all versions 12.08 and higher.

4. Software Download

a. AutoPIPE's software can be downloaded from Bentley's Software Download center using instructions here.

b. AutoPIPE's ATS Software is only available to QA single point of contact, see details here for download instructions.

4. Important Before starting AutoPIPE user MUST:

a. Install AutoPIPE software:

b. Install AutoPIPE QA ATS software

c. Confirm licensing entitlements

Open BLT (Bentley Licensing Tool) - Confirm "AutoPIPE Nuclear QA and Reporting" product status are listed with OK to run.

If not, contact your company appointed Bentley On-site Admin asking them to give you entitlements for this level of licensing. In addition, work with them to make sure that BLT is functioning correctly.

If the user has the correct entitlements, suggest using each of the following commands inside of BLT under the Tools menu:

i. Tools> Send Logs Now

ii. Tools> Refresh Policy

iii. Tools> Reset Policy

iv. Tools> Activation Wizard

5. Start AutoPIPE and set Licensing options

After starting AutoPIPE QA verson 23 or higher, the "Welcome to AutoPIPE Licensing" dialog should appear as shown below (if not, from the landing page select License> Configuration command). at which point the user should enable radio buttons for an editions of AutoPIPE (ex. Standard, Advanced, or Nuclear) and enable check box in front of "AutoPIPE QA"

Note: Users who are not connected to the license service will need to check out both a. AutoPIPE Edition and b. AutoPIPE QA&R entitlements.

Conduct an online search to find instructions on how to uninstall applications from a particular Operating System
