This is not the issue of the software download site rather this issue is of Internet browser, or some browser extensions or add-ons might be causing this behavior. 
We have seen this behavior with Mozilla Firefox browser and same solution can be applied to another browser as well. 
So, implement all the solution one by one given below to get the issue resolved:

  1. Try downloading the same files using a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge, etc.) to see if the issue occurs there as well. This will help determine if it’s specific to Firefox.
  2. Disable any extensions related to file handling or compression and check if the issue persists. 
  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies. Sometimes corrupted cache or cookies can cause unexpected behavior.
  4. Reset Firefox settings to their default values. This can help resolve any misconfigured settings causing the issue.
  5. Restart Firefox in Safe Mode (without extensions) to see if the problem persists.
