Why my member end forces do not match with support reactions when and inclined member is checked?
The results are not matching, because member end forces are reported with respect to member's local axis system, while support reactions are reported with respect to global axis system. If member joining the support is inclined, the end forces at that node and support reactions will not be the same. To get the member end forces in the global axis system, you may add such command into the input file after the PERFORM ANALYSIS command: PRINT MEMBER FORCES GLOBAL LIST X, where X is the member number. After the analysis, the global end forces will be printed in the Output file.
