When i change layers into slab, beam and column layers and after doing this I am able to import dxf file but showing error in slab loading and beam loading and not able to get finalized plan please check and help me. This issue is faced in staad pro building planner when importing the dxf file .

 

ANSWER:

In the .dxf file the beam lines are created along with the slab lines.  It is observed that the coordinates of the slab lines and beam lines are not matching giving the error of finalizing the plan.
We would suggest user follow the steps explained below,

1. remove all the beams of the existing file
2. auto add the beams using the option which is available in to beam menu
3. delete the slabs that are showing errors in finalizing the plan
4. add deleted slabs one by one by selecting nodes
5. finalized the plan.
