When the Physical Modeling mode is launched, the following message is obtained and user is not able to get into the Physical Modeling mode. How can this problem be fixed ?

 

This issue has only been observed in a couple of machines. In case you run into an issue like this, please follow the workaround below

1. Close out of STAAD.Pro.

2. Using Windows Explorer, delete file “user.config” from within the folder below ( please use the exact pathname as indicated in the message box that you are getting. The following path is a sample and your folder name can differ from that)

C:\Users\<User_Name>\AppData\Local\Bentley_Systems_Inc\SXP.exe_StrongName_fxqs5rvvw2xk1p5hc1z1hodpmbplqie2\1.0.0.0

where <User_Name> represents the Windows name for the user. For example for a user named John Doe, it could be John.Doe

3. Start STAAD.Pro and try to access the Physical Modeler.
