Problem

Adding / Editing Fields placed inside a Text string.

A Field is data that can be inserted "Word Processor" into a Text string that reflects information about the element properties or file properties.

Solution

To Insert OR Edit a Field:

Using the Word Processor Right-Click & Select Insert Field, Select the element property or file property & one of the available fields in the list. If the element properties "Area" or the file properties "File Name" changes, the Field will reflect this update.

To Edit existing Fields placed in MicroStation or AutoCad Select the Text string with the Text Editor Word Processor. Highlight the Field, Right-Click & select Edit Field to update the data.
