Problem

How to automatically update text fields when opening a file.

Solution

If a file contains text fields (File properties, File size, File name for example) and you want to update these fields automatically when the file is opened, set the configuration variable MS_AUTO_UPDATE_FIELDS to ALWAYS.

The Key-in field update all will also accomplish this.
