Problem

Can not see SHX font types in Font dialog in MicroStation v8.

When opening a DWG in Microstation, the fonts don't show up.

Solution

To resolve AutoCAD font files.
1. Obtain the .shx file(s)
2. Go to Workspace > Configuration > scroll to MS_DWGFONTPATH.
3. Set this variable to the folder containing the AutoCAD (.shx) font(s)

Note: If AutoCAD is installed before MicroStation is installed, MicroStation will automatically find the location of AutoCAD's font folder.
