Problem

Enter Data Fields (EDF) in shared cells cannot be edited/filled.

Solution

Applies to MicroStation V8, MicroStation J.

Shared Cell Instances are dependent on their Definition in the design file header.

Therefore you can change the Enter Data Field in an individual instance value without changing its definition. Once the Shar
ed Cell is dropped to Geometry or to a Normal Cell, the EDF can be edited.
