Problem

Word Processor dialog window is grayed out when placing or editing text.

Solution

If this problem occurs and the operating system is not Windows 98, but
Windows 2000 or Windows XP, a problem with the operating system is the
cause of this problem. One suggestion would be to repair Internet
Explorer by referring to the instructions on Microsoft's website.
