Problem

Where is the Drafting Tools Properties dialog and how to set the default symbology settings?

Solution

The Drafting Tool properties are located under the Element > Detailing Symbol Settings menu. Once the settings are set here, these will be the default settings for any of the Drafting Tools when used.
