Problem

Justification and origin of text placed in MicroStation 2004 Edition is different in MicroStation V8i.

Solution

(1) Make sure the engineering.rsc font file is in a path specified by MS_FONTPATH.
(2) Check the MstnFontConfig.xml to permit this font to be used.
(3) Delete the contents of the folder GeneratedTTFonts in the MicoStation temp folder (default: MS_TMP).
(4) Restart MicroStation V8i.
