Problem

Place dimension - the order of selecting dimension points.

Solution

In MicroStation V8.5 the order of selecting dimension points has been redesigned. Select the start point and end point of the dimension, followed by the location. Under the old selection method (in MicroStation V8.1), user would select the start point, the location, and then the end point of the dimension. This new method is the default. However, the traditional MicroStation point order can be restored by setting the MS_DIMLEGACYPOINTORDER configuration variable to 1.
