Problem

Problem with DGNLIB files related to Dimension Settings in MicroStation v8.

Having three "Dimension Settings" DGNLIB files. Each has the Dimension Text
set to color #2 and weight #1.

Whenever the Dimension Styles are used from two of the DGNLIB files the dimension is placed properly.

Whenever I use the Dimension Styles from the third DGNLIB file the dimension is placed improperly. In this case the Text Weight does NOT show up as weight #1.

Solution

This is because In DWG dimensions, you cannot have separate settings in Text for Weight, Font, Width, or Underline. Only color, height, and Tolerance Generation.

 AutoCAD will not allow you to set a weight for dimension text
