Problem

Reference file does not follow the symbology.

Dimensions in the reference file are not adhering to the reference file level symbology.

Solution

When these dimension were placed they were placed with the toggle "Override Level Symbology" through the dimension settings.

The only way to change them to the currently level symbology is to use the match
dimension tool to update the symbology of the dimensions.
