Problem

The differences of using Place Note with Association turned On or Off in V7 & V8.
The Association Toggle is functioning differently between V7 & V8 when moving Text way from the Leader.

Solution

MicroStation V7 Functions:
Association ON- Text, Leader <(>&<)> Element will always remain grouped when moved individually.
Association OFF- Text, Leader <(>&<)> Element do not stay grouped when moved individually.

In MicroStation V8, this functionality changed. With Association toggled On or Off the Text <(>&<)> the Leader will always remain grouped together.
Association ON- The leader <(>&<)> the element are being associated.
Association OFF- The leader <(>&<)> the element are NOT being associated.
