PSC Bridge Design - OpenBridge Modeler: Bridge Geometry Definition


Using Bridge Wizard that allows to quickly create a complete bridge model by entering just a few inputs.

  1. Bridge name.
  2. Alignment pick interactively from *.dgn file or use one default alignment.
  3. Bridge Type.
  4. Deck Template under Utilities > Libraries.
  5. Span lengths as L1 L2 L3 or L1 3@L2.
  6. Support Skew Angles.
  7. Abutment Template under Utilities > Libraries.
  8. Pier Template under Utilities > Libraries.
  9. Left and Right Barrier Template.

Introducing deck geometry variables in Variable Constraint.

By Copy/Paste from Excel Spreadsheet file.

Defining Tendon points with Tagging Tool and after establishing the variable constraint name.

Introducing tendon geometry in Variable Constraint.


Sending the model to RM Bridge:

  1. Standard Code and Material Group;
  2. Segment's subdivision;
  3. Support restraint conditions;
  4. RM Materials.
