Why a warning "UNKNOWN NATIONAL ANNEX IS SPECIFIED. DEFAULT BS ANNEX IS USED" is reported while using the NA design parameter for the EN 1993-1-1:2005?

 

Answer:

 

This warning is reported, when a design parameter NA is assigned to some members, like below:

...
PARAMETER 1
CODE EN 1993-1-1:2005
NA 3 MEMB 76 TO 83 95 TO 97 99 101 200 201 268 284 285 288
...

NA design parameter does not need to be assigned to any members, so the input should be changed to such:

...
PARAMETER 1
CODE EN 1993-1-1:2005
NA 3
....

In this case, such warning will not be reported anymore and the selected National Annex will be used for EN 1993-1-1:2005.
