Recalc Window: Basic Settings: 1. Calculations

At the Calculations, Basic Settings, in the Recalc Window, the user can select the calculation steps to be performed. In general, all selected calculation types will be performed; but, in some cases, it is interesting to skip some of the calculations not by stage, but by type, to save time. This situation usually happens in the middle of the project, where initial calculations, like Cross-section calculation and Structure check, as well as extremely time-consuming calculations types, like Influence-lines and Time effects (C+S), for creep, shrinkage, and Steel Relaxation could be ignored. This is only possible because the user knows this is an intermediate step and they will need to be turned on again later in the process for achieving final results.
Users just need to unselect the possible calculation types:
  • Cross-section calculation;
  • Structure check;
  • Stage calculation;
  • Initialize Load Manager;
  • Influence-lines calculations;
  • Time effects (C+S), for creep and shrinkage;
    • Include Steel Relaxation.
