As RM Bridge can easily use a curved alignment as a reference, these curved bridges will then need to consider the additional centrifugal loads in the local z-direction, s shown in the picture below.

   

The Macro1Z generates load vectors in the local z-direction, the horizontal directions that are used for centrifugal loads. The cross-section eccentricities from the center of gravity to the node could be included with the (default) options or be ignored by the no eccentricity option no ecc.

Additional observations:

• The geometrical relationship between the centrifugal force and the superelevation is shown in the second picture above. 
• Another force that needs to be considered is the overturning force.
