Moment magnification selection for design will not be fully operational unless the user sets "braced/unbraced" under Moment Magnification Parameters.

If default "none" is left unchanged, design will not consider the MM option (see screen shot below).

If column and shaft are part of the same structural vertical member, then both have to be set to the same option, either braced or unbraced.

Also the type of analysis used is clearly shown at the beginning of the column design report..
