QUESTION: How are moments amplified by P-Delta and Moment magnification method applied while designing cap, column and footing ?

ANSWER:

Moments amplified by P-Δ are used only for column design ,they are not applied to the cap but in V15.00.00.41 user can include the P-Delta effect for footing design.

So only moments amplified due to Moment magnification method will be transferred to cap and footing.
