QUESTION: How to apply Ice Load on a pier ?

ANSWER: 

User has to apply ICE load based on AASHTO Article 3.9 and per project local conditions.

RCpier does not have any kind of library for different flood levels.

User can apply the ICE load as a point load and the ICE loads needs to be calculated manually.

Also I would suggest the users to check the local DOT specifications.

Select ICE load from Load type and then click on edit. Under Column Loads/ Settlement apply the force

(Ex. 10kips at 0.5 --> ya/L) at half height.
