RSI Wizard


The new Rail Structure Interaction Wizard in RM Bridge is a tool to facilitate the input of the additional elements necessary to model an RSI. It aims to ease the creation of tracks and spring elements to simulate the link of the rails and the bridge structure at the deck level. It also adds the embarkments at the bridge's beginning and end. To launch the Rail Structure Interaction Wizard screen right-click on the Tree menu at the Main Girder and select it instead of New Main Girder, as shown in the screenshot below.

The bridge Cross-Section should have a Geometry Point with an offset from the deck from where the track will be placed. It will model two rails with a constant distance from this center point. The track will be connected through the nodes with one of the options below:
