This example of modeling and calculating a simple composite T-beam with two spans is shown.

    

It can be considered a Pre-tensioned beam example or tutorial for PT. The calculation of a pre-stressed composite structure considering construction stages is demonstrated in this example. The precast beams are installed first using the Cross-Section as detailed below. The in-situ concrete slab and the prestressing is added afterward forming a composite structure of two different concretes, the precast and the in-situ.
