Problem
Administrator or Co-Administrator can get the message "This user already exists. Click 'Add to account' to add to your account" while registering the user in User Management.

This situation can sometimes occur in scenarios, where:
- The user registered their profile on the Bentley site with an email of the company's domain, however, the company's account does not have the automatic approval option turned on for the domains they own.
- The user registered their profile with a generally available email address, such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.
- Note: We suggest roles of user (account) being added to your account be reviewed to ensure user has appropriate roles for your organization. See Available Roles
Solution
Click "Add to Account" hyperlink in the modal window and finish the user registration.
If you are unable to add the user, please contact licensing support using one of the following methods:
- Call our support line and choosing option 3 followed by 1 to speak to a licensing analyst.
- Create a service request, choose the Licensing and User Administration tile, and select User Management as the problem Area.
