Problem
V8i install overwrites previous version.
When installing MicroStation V8i SS2 or SS3, it overwrites MicroStation V8i SS1.
Solution
This is correct, MicroStation V8i SS2 or later, will "update" the current active install of V8i (if after 08.11.05.17).
Notes:
- Uninstall is not required.
- It will not attempt to install over older versions of MicroStation before MicroStation V8i.
- If there is desire to have multiple versions of the same series of MicroStation on the same machine, it is possible to do so using a "Virtual Machine".
